SPOOOK-TACULAR INVITATION hand delivered by a Scary Silver Skeleton!!
Make no bones about it, event designer Janet McLoughlin has a gift for raising the roof, and raising the dead. Actually, her true gift is creating tablescapes through her company, Picture Perfect Parties. In an interview with Special Events magazine she says, “Every tabletop should tell a story and have a sense of theater.” This Halloween table, created for a photo shoot, was all that and more, filled with ghosts and goblins and yet was still boo-tiful.
LIFE’S A BREACH: BK Design created the 2012 trade show branding for Rapid7, one of the fastest growing security companies worldwide. Attendees had to search for 7 illustrated breaches to win a Security Protection Finder T-shirt (SPF 100)— the ”hot” item on the trade show floor. The whimsical “Where’s Waldo” illustrations of the bad guy phishing a wallet to the Malware monster in the ocean were created by the talented Robert de Michiell.
MOROCCO MADNESS: A black matte laser cut lantern lights up the night for this graduation invitation. Fun mocktail menu with jewels. Stunning florals by William Mizutta Design.
BK Design created the invitation for Northeastern University’s $1 billion empower campaign. A custom stamp, tassel and die cut cover set the tone for this hands-on event. Imagery alluded to interactive activities featuring Northeastern’s groundbreaking research and leadership that would be part of the night.
